Despite her busy schedule, True Mother called all of us to Cheon Jeong Gung this morning! Not only were we able to get a photo with her, but she also shared with the Seonghwa students a few words. It was truly a moment to cherish and remember. It was really wonderful to see True Mother come out looking very healthy and bright and we hope that True Mother continues to stay healthy and will be with us for a very long time!! We will strive to be the best sons and daughters who give love back to our True Parents!!
True Mother, we love you❤
******** Transcirpt of True Mother's Words ********
Now that I have seen all your faces closely, I am envigorated.
Isn’t today a very fine day? (Yes!) Are you happy? (Yes!) Who are you? You are True Parents’…? (Children!) Have you become one with True Mother through absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience? You don’t know how much God, the Creator has waited for the day like today. You were born through the blessings of True Parents as 2nd and 3rd generations, right? Then, shouldn’t you become the filial sons and daughters, and patriots who fulfil the purpose in which God, the Creator tried to embrace humanity through the creation principles? You understand that all of you are in such precious, joyful, and historical position? You shouldn’t keep such happiness by yourself, right? Will you pledge unchanging loyalty to True Mother, who is the only begotten daughter, until the day when 7.5 billion people of the world knows of Heavenly Parent and True Parents and offer gratitude and praise? All of you look so beautiful today. I bless all of you that your thoughts and efforts and successes will become the proud reflection to Heaven and to humankind. Since it is so hot I will only say few words. Please be healthy. I will give you Heave G. Burger to all of you for lunch.
With the viewing of opening video that included True Parents’ valuable words and exciting music,
HJ Cheonwon Special Workshop hosted by True Parents 2018 GTGY finally began. This year marks the 3 workshop already. It is more meaningful because it is here at HJ Cheonwon, the land that True Parents have prepared for us, and at Cheongshim International Youth Center, where True Parents planted the vision for future generations!
The program began with orientation. It included opening prayer by Mr. Hiroaki Takeuchi, Director of Youth and Student Department at FFWPU for Heavenly Japan, welcoming remarks by Mr. Jae Hyun Kim, Director of Youth and Student Department at FFWPU International HQ, and introduction of the program and rules by Mr. Dong Yeon Kim, Deputy Director of Youth and Student Department at FFWPU IHQ. Afterward, as ice breaking program, the participants drew self-portraits and filled out “Who Am I” worksheet, which brought the family members closer. They also had met members from other families through Speed Sharing time. Even though the communication was very difficult because many different languages involved, their efforts to express their heart was very admirable. Even though their languages, looks, and cultures are different, their actions look as if they have a mission to become one family because together they attend True Parents. Awkwardness of the first meeting of brothers and sisters who traversed many oceans and mountains to meet were overcome in mere hours.
475 participants from 27 nations, 53 family leaders, 27 SunHak UP cadets and HQ staff, 14 public leaders from participants’ nations, all together total of 569! They are working to realize the ideals of one family of humanity under True Parents right here at HJ Cheonwon.
*** HJ Cheonwon Special Workshop hosted by True Parents 2018 GTGY for Seonghwa is from July 26th to August 8th and for Youth and CARP is from August 9th to 20th. During this time, there will be total of 1350 participants.

How do you feel? Are you ready internally well as externally?
You will be in a family with brothers and sisters from all around the world
But I hope that you are not thinking, ‘Since I can’t speak English or Japanese, I will just concentrate on the lecture!’
Why should you worry if we are meeting as a family?
If we are a family, we can overcome any mistakes or difficulties ^-^
If we try to understand and help each other,
difficulties in communication and culture can be overcome!
If you prepare yourselves to accept anyone as your brother and sister,
then you are fully prepared to come to GTGY!
Also, family leaders are here to help you so don’t worry!
Let me explain about the team structure at GTGY!
Usually at a workshop, participants are placed into teams
But at GTGY there are teams, group of teams,
And higher group of groups of teams.
Let us explain!
If team leader’s title is ‘Family Leader,’
Teams would be called ‘Families,’ right?
And group of 3~4 families make up a ‘Clan.’
And clan is not all!
Group of 4 clans is called a ‘Tribe.’
Is this too complicated?
Take a look at the picture below for a better understanding.
Are you now ready to become a real family with brothers and sisters from all over the world?
Since August 21st, The family leaders for GTGY Seonghwa workshop came to Cheongah Camp on August 21st and have been attending a staff workshop.
They are preparing to meet all of you by going over the details of the program and thinking about how to create unity with brothers and sisters from all around the world.
Also, participants from Dominican Republic, Japan, and Russia have already arrived in Korea waiting for GTGY to start.
Brothers and sisters! Please come safely!
We can’t wait until we meet :-D
There is something that we would like to ask all of you to do before coming to GTGY!
There is a program called “Peace Designer’s Table (PDT) during the workshop.
It is a program where we help you identify social issues and take an active role in making a difference about the issue.
In another words, the program is an indirect way to experience the process of the taking an interest in the issues around me, find people who are interested in the issues as well, and try to solve them.
In order for you to actively participate during PDT, it will be great for you to do some research on the topics below and organize your thoughts before coming here!
• Research current status and progress on the reunification of South and North Korea ex) lookup articles about meeting of South and North Korean heads of state and US and North Korean heads of state.
• Research NGO/NPOs and social movements related to family values.
• Research activities of the SunHak Peace Prize laureates ex) 1st laureates – Anote Tong, former president of Kiribati, and Dr. Modadugu Gupta, etc.
Anyone can download it!
Please use it freely in your coutry^^

Since most of the GTGY programs will be held here, wouldn’t it be good for you to know the facilities?
You may have wondered where you would be staying during the workshop so here is an in-depth view of Cheongah camp facilities.
If you walk up the hill behind the Peace World Center, you will be able to see Cheongah Camp!
Cheongah Camp is divided into dormitory section and lecture hall section.
Dormitory and lecture hall section is connected only on the 1st floor.
We will introduce the lecture hall section first, which is where you will spend most of your time in.
1st floor of the lecture hall section has a gymnasium, an international conference hall, and an auditorium.
We will meet all together for the first time in the gymnasium, which can hold up to 1,500 people!
There are 9 lecture rooms and seminar rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor.
And on the 1st and 4th floor, there are Sky Garden cafés.
It is a great to visit on your break time with your family members!
Next, we will introduce the dormitory section, where you will be dining and resting!
If you go past the 1st floor Sky Garden café into the dormitory section, the dining hall will be on your right.
Please don’t forget to thank the dining hall staff who will be providing all of you with delicious and balanced meal throughout the workshop.
The 2nd floor through the 4th floor of the dormitory section will be where all of you will be staying.
There is a janitorial team who will be cleaning the area everyday but let us be responsible by using the facilities neatly!
Lastly, there is a laundry room located on the basement floor of the dormitory section.
We will share the rules for using the laundry room when you arrive here.
One the best features of Cheongah Camp is that they provide a towel.
But just remember that they provide new ones on Mondays and Thursdays only so we recommend you bring your own towel :-D
